IDEXX expands Cancer Dx panel to UK for early canine lymphoma detection

Shots:

  • IDEXX has launched the IDEXX Cancer Dx Panel in the UK, enabling early detection of lymphoma in at-risk dogs, with results delivered within 3-5 days and integration into both diagnostic and routine wellness testing
  • The blood-based test, already adopted by ~6,000 clinics across North America, can detect lymphoma signals up to eight months before clinical signs, offering 79% sensitivity and 99% specificity to support earlier diagnosis and intervention
  • IDEXX plans to expand the panel to cover most canine cancers over the next three years, strengthening its preventive care portfolio and advancing early cancer detection in veterinary practice

Why It Matters?

IDEXX is extending its Cancer Dx platform into the UK, giving vets a blood-based panel that can be added to wellness profiles and delivers lymphoma results in 3–5 days with 79% sensitivity and 99% specificity.

With real-world use in roughly 6,000 North American clinics and data suggesting lymphoma signals can be picked up 6–8 months before clinical signs, the UK launch pushes cancer screening further into preventive care and sets the stage for IDEXX to layer in additional canine cancer targets over the next three years.
